1.2. Clara Schumann (1819-1896): one of the best piano player in history. Chopin said she was the only one who could play his music. Ex: Mein Stern

2.1.1. There was more liberty in expression in Romantic Music, composeres expressed their feelings in music. This was the focus of this era. Most of the music works were 'programme symphony' ( music based in an experience of the composer) and also 'tone poem' (based in a book read by the composer).

2.1.2. Industrial revoution had an influence in instruments, for example: in keys for brass instruments.
