3. Output Devices are computer hardware that transfers data to means other than the computer.

3.1. A Printer is an output device that transfers data to create a hard copy of what you created on the computer document also known as the softcopy.

3.1.1. Benefits: Utilizing a keyboard makes the information look neater, easier to read by all.Printers help to produce a hardcopy of a document created on your computer; they can also produce transparencies (Lever-Duffy, 2011, p. 120).

3.1.1.1. Challenge: The printers install drivers usually from a Compact disc set up may be complicated and sometimes the printer does not communicate well with the computer and needs to be reinstalled.

3.2. Laser Printers use hear to produce a print to paper (p 121).

3.3. Ink Jet Printers use ink to produce the image on the paper.

3.4. Multifunction Devices are combination of fax, copier, and printer all in one. and can use any of the formats to produce the image for paper or transport.
