2.1.1. Pros: 1 All notifications for all applications have been moved to one window pain that resembles the android notification pain. 2 Over 1 billion apps are developed for the ios platform and many more are made each week.

2.1.2. Cons: 1 I-Tunes is the only software that is compatible for syncing movies, music, and pictures. 2 Limited customization with out deceasing warranty.

2.2.1. Pros: 1 Operating system is open source there for easily customization. 2 Support for netbooks and other computers.

2.2.2. Cons: 1 not secure enough. Easily hack-able. 2 Limited good applications that are worth downloading.

2.3.1. Pros: 1 Support for windows xp, vista, 7, and 8. 2 Integrated microsoft office and communications tile for collaboration.

4.1.1. Pros: 1 The ability to install the open source software on unlimited computers with out entering any licenses. 2 The ability to run the operating system off a usb flash drive with out restrictions.

4.1.2. Cons: 1 Alternative applications for main applications are not attractive. very washed out and old looking. 2 Multitasking could be more fluent and faster. The new icons dock could be tweaked to be more faster.

4.2.1. Pros: 1 Built in security has been updated and reinforced with windows defender. Can install other security software with out confilctions. 2 Interface has been updated to a more user friendly aspect. finding applications or a document is now easier.

4.2.2. Cons: 1 The minimum hardware requirements have been updated to decease the old hardware used by most of the people. Forcing people to either update the computer components or buy a new computer. 2 Microsoft updates keep requiring reboot after completion.

4.3. Mac OS X

4.3.1. Pros: 1 Power consumption is less obtrusive than any other operating systems. 2 Used by video editing and audio editing.

4.3.2. Cons: 1 The operating system is only defined for specific hardware components that are made by apple. 2 Operating system updated are now priced to sell instead of automatically downloading and updating.

6.2.2. Cons: 1 not as secure as ios. 2 No support for true collaboration on documents.

6.3.1. Pros: 1 Accessible to Microsoft Office and other main applications. 2 Allows for high capacity internal and external storage.

6.3.2. Cons: 1 Not optimized for tablet use. 2 Applications are not optimized for tablet mode nor multi-touch gestures.

6.4.1. Pros: 1 Ability to switch from one operating system to another. 2 Different OS means different applications for work and personal.

6.4.2. Cons: 1 Made by 3rd party manufacturers who cant make good quality products. 2 No support for crashes or other malfunctions.

6.5.1. Pros: 1 New silk browser is determined to be the fastest web browser on tablets. 2 Every content is streamable from your Amazon Prime Account.

6.5.2. Cons: 1 No other features like bluetooth or a webcam. 2 Only 8 gigabyte of storage built in. Operating system does not take advantage of that space.

7. Netbook Operating Systems

7.1. Chromium

7.1.1. Pros: 1 Everything is on the cloud. Nothing is allowed to be stored on the main hard drive. 2 Boot time and shut down time is instant due to the light web browser based operating system.

7.1.2. Cons: 1 There are no main applications installed on the operating system. 2 No file system or other systems developed into the operating system.

7.2. Windows7

7.2.1. Pros: 1 Main applications are easily accessible on a mobile and power efficient netbook. 2 store music movies and other items on the netbook to view over long periods of trips.

7.2.2. Cons: 1 Not designed for netbooks. Very slow and glitchy. 2 Interface is not designed for the small screens of the netbooks. Redesign required.

7.3.1. Pros: 1 Operatingsystem that is light on hardware resources. 2 Battery is improved v.s windows.

7.3.2. Cons: 1 Applications are still washed out and not attractive. 2 Multitasking could be more fluent and designed for netbooks.

9.1. Playstation

9.1.1. Pros: 1 Built in blu-ray drive to watch and play blu-ray dvd's and games. 2 All accessories are using bluetooth wireless technology.

9.1.2. Cons: 1 Security is too easily accessible and hackable. 2 Main stream games like halo and other Microsoft games are not available to the play station.

9.2. XBox

9.2.1. Pros: 1 Mainstream games are available like Halo and other games. 2 Content is always available to the xbox console first.

9.2.2. Cons: 1 Multiplayer requires xbox live account which has to be payed every month, 3 months, or 1 year. 2 accessories are using outdated wireless technology.

9.3. Wii

9.3.1. Pros: 1 Shooting games are more interactive and fun. 2 The wii remote can beused in many ways like a race wheel or a gun or a fishing pole.

9.3.2. Cons: 1 Games for the wii are outdated and broing. 2 the wii console is outdated and no longer an interesting console to buy.
