1.6. Overall the two main differences between philosophies is that they focus either more on the students or the teachers. All five philosophies have the same purpose (helping/teaching students), but they have different methods of teaching.

2.4. Being a reflective teacher is important because it helps teachers to understand students needs. However, it is really hard keep up with the practices of a reflective teacher, because, one will have to adapt to the rules of the school they are teaching in, which sometimes changes teachers views and they get stuck in a routine based on the rules of the school. They don't branch out and continue being a reflective teacher, which is important because a teacher should continue to learn and be open to change, so that they can be the best teacher they can be.

Past experience just builds an image of a teacher, but working experience is learning new information, which can change your teaching philosophies and views. To be the best teacher one can be, one must be open to change, but by critically thinking and reflecting on these new experiences and ideas while thinking of teaching and your students.

9.5. As a teacher, one must understand that all students are unique and different. You personally may not agree with something, but must do everything you can to teach all students equally, and if an issue which you are not knowledgable in arrises, there are resources one can turn to for help and guidance. As a teacher one should take interest in their students, learn about them, and accept them for who they are, so you can find out the best way you can teach them.

10.1. Technology in the Classroom

10.2. "Second Wave Teaching" - Take a chance to educate outside of curriculum, by bringing real world events and incorporating them into the curriculum.

10.3. Teachers need to understand each individual student's needs and use various methods and medias to help them. For instance, using ear phones to listen to the readings for a students who has trouble reading. However, it is really important to provide students with the same opportunities.

10.4. As a teacher, you yourself are a role model for your students, this fact itself will allow for changes to occur in your classroom. However a teacher should know their students, their families and the community before they initiate change.
