Lead yourself out of failure Let yourself feel bad for a minute Calm down and think realistically about the impact of your failure Remind yourself your success The list of wins that prepared earlier Gather your thoughts and breathe Try to fix it or at least come to term with it If the mistake is fixable, you need to start thinking about how to fix it and who you'll need to get involved If it's not fixable, you need to start accepting it and thinking about how you will frame this to your boss Give your self a quickboost Recognize some potential patterns. Are your mistakes coming from not paying attention to details? Reacting too quickly? Unpacking how to lead yourself out of failure and avoid future mistakes is a little bit uncomfortable but it's worth it in the long run. Practice what you preach and be vocal and transparent Get your team involved on setting decisions
